But Terry, I thought the Enertia was the best prop for everything? LOL

I can attest to T Mac's live of the Tempest. It is the best prop for the IPS and IPS II hull. I would sacrifice a few hundred...

The 1825 Pro Guide was built off the 2010 Pro Guide. The hull was designed as a tiller boat , not a wheel boat with the console pulled out. The beam is 90" and the cockpit depth is shallower. Also...

Overpriced?

In the last few years the only thing I have purchased at Gander is clothing. Any time I look at guns the prices are higher than any other place. My question is does anyone actually buy guns here,...

Actually the NMMA doesn't do much on their own. Basically everything is set by the ABYC. Both CG and NMMA standards are derived from the work of the ABYC. ABYC standards are much more in-depth....

The coast guard does not just "up" a horsepower rating. A formula is used to figure it out. One for remote steer boats and one for tiller boats. If there is a handle on the motor it is a tiller...

Here in lies the problem. How is it right that Ranger folllows the law and Warrior does not. Warrior never had an "exemption", nor was the pro tiller system classified as a remote steering system. I...

The 1875 actually has 5" more cockpit area then the 1975. The 1975 bow area is bigger then the 1875. If fishing 4 I would go 225 on a 2075 and have more room and plenty of power. It wasn't that...

Not unless there is a kicker.

The battery isolator will only be factory installed if it has Verado Power steering and a remote kicker. If just a 225 Verado will not have a isolator. One good starting battery is all that is...

I see, so you don't currently have a fuel gauge? If you already have the Mercury fuel harness installed then all you have to do is plug the gauges in.

Cut the board off!

Bigstorm.

You need to take the board off and cut what looks to be a 1/2" off of it. The board needs to be just above the seam of the transom and bottom. What you are doing is creating a trim...

Not a $40,000 boat!

The made up numbers of $39K and $40K are not real. The link posted showed a MSRP of $36,900 not $39k. At the MPLS boat show the Crossover with a 150 fourstroke merc was $33k and some change. With a...

Get ahold of your dealer, Lund makes downrigger brackets just for the gunwales on the Explorer. They mount using both the SportTrak and the ProTrak.

RE: 175 opti on 2010 pro guide

RE: Lund Livewell Issues

Meathunter,

The rear livewell on the 1600 explorer uses a standpipe, not a plug. There should have been one in the bag that comes with the boat.
