On the FS series the ski pole is one piece...
On the FS series the ski pole is one piece aluminum and slides in just in front of the splash well. It has one keeper pin to install. Very slick set up!
On my 621 vs the ski pole was a tripod...

IMO it is not possible to get a 1/2 ton truck...
IMO it is not possible to get a 1/2 ton truck with trailer into CDL range. It would be very difficult to get combined gross weight anywhere near the 26,000 mark. I don't know of any 1/2 ton trucks...
