Too much!!
I would say that I average between $1,500 and $2,000 a year. I try to keep up on electronics and trolling motors, I do like to get a new rod & reel once in awhile and for tackle I do add new every...

Stainless all the way. I would never run an aluminum prop, less performance, easier to blow out and not as durable. I had an "incident" with some rocks when going through some rapids in Canada a...

Here is my finished winter project. Removed the stock bow panel with the 798 and made a new panel out of starboard then moved the 959 from the dash to the bow. Kept the 998 in the dash and added a...

Ranger 1880 MS
Only one G2 200. The other is a G2 200 HO which is the larger displacement. Both are V6 engines. I agree I'm sure it's the 200, not the 200 HO.

Ranger 1880 MS
That's lame! The Opti weights less than Verado!! What's the point in increasing the rating to 200 if you're limited on what 200's you can put on the boat?? I get the Verado L6, that's a big heavy...

On LOTW Ontario Side with a 2 oz. bottom bouncer and a hammered gold spinner topped with a 1/2 crawler in 30 feet of water. One after another!

Bad year for mice!
It's the worst year for mice I have every seen here in MN. All the rain this summer has them pushed out of the low land. I even had a rat get trapped in one of my window wells last week, first rat...

Prop & Engine Height
I would start with a new stainless 4 blade prop. Aluminum props really hurt performance on boats with a 150 HP motor or bigger, I wouldn't even own an aluminum prop. A lot of people like the...

Good Motor
I talked to a guy in length that owns a boat rental company and the Merc 115 4 stroke is what he puts on all of his pontoons that he rents. He says they just work with little to no issues in...

New Prop
Sounds like a new lower pitch prop might get the RPM's up and would probably increase speeds as well. Not sure if your using a 3 blade or 4 blade but going to a 4 blade would give you more lift ...

Splitting Screen
My issue with splitting the screen when I only had one 998 at the console was that I wanted it split 4 ways and that isn't possible with a 998 or any of the legacy units. I wanted to be able to see...

Very Nice!
Looks like the perfect 18' boat to me! I love my 1860 Angler but all of the changes that they made to the 1880 MS are ones that I have wished I had in my 1860, mostly the jump seats, 200 HP motor...

Two for sure!
I would go 2 for sure! At a minimum two Helix 9's, one with just Sonar/GPS and the other with SI. When running use one for GPS/Map and the other for Sonar. When fishing split the screens and use 1...

Upgrade is coming!
I will be moving the 959 that is on top to the bow replacing the 798 and putting a Helix 10 in it's place before spring.

Yep!
Should work just as you want it too. I haven't hooked up a Helix to my 998/959 network yet but am planning on getting it done before next season and everything I have read says that the new Helix...

Same Boat!!
I'm doing the same thing, kind of. I have a 998 and 959 at the console now and a 798 in the bow. I am moving the 959 to the bow, taking out the 798 and using it for ice fishing/portable for small...
