Tell my all the ppl that use 20lb test for walleyes. When you walleye fish you take the chance of geting bit by a pike. When you lose ur line its the same as a snag.

Do you have a Crestliner Phantom? You said you have a 186 and I thought it might be a Phantom. If this is the case there is not problem with using a transon saver on thisa boat.
