Lowrance ethernet question

I just purchased a new boat that has a HDS 7 and a X510C. The x510C is not equipped with gps, but will the ethernet cable allow me to view gps data via the HDS 7.

I have both motors. The Maxxum is better for vertical jigging. However, the Terrova is awsome for bottom bouncing or trolling, especially if you get the co-pilot.
