Thumbs up The Wonderful World of Jig's

Guys and Gals,
I am sending this pics about how we do our jigs, We make our jars 2to 3 inches high and about 1 1/2 to 2 inches around, into our heating source for painting jigs, with a small jar, and drill a hole in the top, just undersize of the wick size, a pcs of rope works, put pcs of rope not quite to hit bottom and trim off 1/2 to 3/4 inch from top of lid, fill jar half way w denatured alchohol, available at hardware stores, stand back
and light it , it will burn a little higher at first time, when it settles , we get our paint in container ( like a plastic container they sell mealy worms in, save the lid to cover powder paint.) Take a plastic knife and with point down lightly make a dip across top of paint, (usually the depth of jig your painting,) now, heat the jig over the wick , our way is when it is hot enough to dip in the paint , when it changes color, turn it over to other side for couple seconds, put it in the dip you have in the powder paint and use knife to swish paint over top of it and Click image for larger version

When we are done, we put them in this oven on a rack my fishing buddy
made out of allumium strips, drilled holes in the angles, and used bolts and
nuts to adjust the height, and our rack holds 50 painted jigs and we set
oven at 225 degrees for 10 minutes, it is baked on and holds up well.
Keep a tight line,

And will answer any questions.
