Not sure which depth finder you are looking at. First step is understanding if it is "balls or pods of bait fish/bugs" or actual arches on the Finder, which would indicate fish to target. If arches, I'd run cranks. If that doesn't work, run spinners with snap weights, or easier yet, bobbers a foot above the arches.
