I've got an 8 hp two stage simplicity that I bought new in 1996. Like the other person here...she still looks brand new. I also use synthetic oil. I have not been able to find any other maker that produces such a rugged blower. My handles are made of solid steel...and the support arms are heavy boxed type units. Most others use thin gauge pipe...that seem almost shaky when manuevering the blower.

Good luck on your quest....If Simplicity hasn't changed...that would be my recommendation.
