I'm about fed up with this set up though. I'm just going to buy the battery tender connector that everyone talkes about and just pull a positive and negotive wire off the female side of the marineco plug. That way I can just use those as a two wire system and jump them at the battery. I'm set on the 60amp relay since I already have one.

This is an excellent plan. The battery tender plug is excellent. This is a much simpler set up to troubleshoot if you did have problems down the road.
