Cabela's XML Rods
Was browsing through the Cabela's site yesterday in search of another Shimano Symetre reel and came upon a sale on a combo with the Symetre and an XML rod for $135.. Sounds like a great deal as the reel is normally about $85 and according to the site the rod's regular price is $139, but I haven't had any experience with the XML rods..
Wondering if anyone can provide some real-world feedback on the XML's? This is the standard XML, not the Walleye series and I was looking at the 6'6" Med-Fast version. It would be used mostly for rigging applications.
