I am running a 3 blade viper that prop an pitched to 18P and drilled the merc vent holes. Surprisingly iam running between 46-48 @ 5450rpms and that is with 2 adults and 2 teens. The best I have done by myself is 48.5 and that was running on fumes. I was thinking of trying a prop that would give me more top end, just to see what happens? Every boat and motor combo seems to be different? Some guys are pulling low 50's, but are probably lacking hole shot and all around performance?
