I have 5 AR's last time I checked and to be honest as long as you stick with one of the name brands (Colt, S&W, Bushmaster, Remington, DPMS, etc.) you will be getting a pretty darn good gun. I suggest putting a new trigger (I like Timneys) as all the stock triggers are pretty much crap.
My favorite AR I have is a Rock River with a 10.5" barrel and a silencer on it! Lot's of fun and not lots of noise!
