I'm going to give Gulp! a serious trial. Are both the minnows and the worms effective? Are any particular colors most effective?

Hogslammer, thanks, I saw that and sent it in a few days ago. I don't imagine they will send many and don't know what color, so I'm still going to order some minnows and "woymz" as soon as I can decide what colors I want.

Otter,
I picked up some 6" worms to try with spinner rigs this spring. I heard that Berkley sends (2) 6" worms for the free offer. Of course someone complained that they got "ripped off" ;). I did try the maggots that come in a jar (I think they are in the Gulp line) while ice fishing on my pond last week with good results vs wax worms. Tim |

Otter,
I tried the worms and minnow grubs and was not happy with the natural worms or the green minnow. A buddy tried the neon colors and had much better luck. For what thats worth. Good luck, |

i ran some of their chartruse worms on harnesses during the begining of summer last year on erie. they worked when nothing else would. i bought a better variety for this season, but i'll always start out with real crawlers to begin with.

I'm not sure what all colors they come in. I would try the Natural, the watermelon or green pumpkin. If they have it in pumpkinseed that would be a good choice. Also pumpkinseed with a chartruse tail. Took one of my biggest eyes on erie with a pumpkin seed with chartruse tail power worm last year.
