Default Lund promotions

I'm considering purchase of a Lund boat this spring. Has anybody heard of any upcoming "factory promotions" that may become available? Thanks.

I have not heard of anything to date, think they'll have to settle on pricing first given the unstable economic climate.

I stopped in at a Lund dealership here in Ontario about 2 weeks ago and was advised all the Lund dealers are having a big meeting to discuss pricing a week prior to the Toronto boat show Jan 10,2009.

And I notice, probably like you they don't have anything advertised on their website either.

Cheers,

Lundfisher

Can they do that in Canada?
In the states we have anti-trust laws. Such a meeting amongst dealers to set prices would be illegal here.
It would be "price fixing".

I know of a couple of ex Lund dealers who wore ankle bracelets around Montana in the late 1980s for doing that. (No joke)

Interesting,,,never thought of that!
That's exactly what I was told by the Lund dealership in Sudbury and just recently spoke to a new Ranger dealership here the other day in Ontario who told me they've got a meeting coming up regarding pricing!

How could one prove this price fixing?

Cheers,
Lundfisher

more than likely what it is, is minimum advertised pricing they can sell it for what ever they want buy can't advertise any lower than the said price. That is not for dealers to come up with but what the factory wants them set at.
