Default Ranger Style Pedestal

Im looking for the Ranger style fixed seat pedestal, has the button release and the key lock stamped into the ped. Looked at Springfield web site and didn't see the ones with the key in them.
I have a standard pedestal, but doesn't fit in the base.......key hits it. Can the key be removed from the base? I have a rod holder that mounts to the pedestal, I don't think it would spin with the tab engaged, just the key would be missing.
Any thoughts?

You want the "Locking Spring Lock" posts.

It took me a while to figure that one out myself. They have a "Spring Lock" without the key, and the "Locking Spring Lock" with the key.

thanks esox for the info........... hard to tell from the pictures on their web site as to what you will get. They should add the word "keyway" to the desription.

I have at least 3 of them I took out of my Ranger 620T and would give you a heck of a deal on one. On my 2001 and my 2008 I simply took a large screwdriver and pounded the aluminum key out of the base. I wanted to replace the pedestals with standard air ride ones. Works perfect. Let me know.
