Minn Kota auto pilot kicking out

Has anyone had a problem with 101 terrova auto pilot shutting off after about 15 minutes. it won,t work until after about an hour. it sounds like a something electronical getting hot then kicking out. second question if this is the case can i buy the part from a store or order it from the factory. I have a trip coming up on Wednesday and would like to get it fixed. thank you.

You can purchase a new auto pilot part 1866180, they sell for about $250. you might want to take it to a minn kota authorized service center to make sure its not something else going on with the trolling motor.
