Not sure of it helps or not but I have ordered 2 brand new lunds (1600 explorer and 1800 Prov) neither were in stock....I had to wait 6 weeks to both of them. Not sure when the boat factories kick it into high gear and start pumping out the boats..Maybe there isnt a "high gear" anymore in the boating industry.

I got my 1600 Alaskan in 8 weeks from initial order (picked it up on Nov 4). Your dealer should be able to get a "build date" which is when it is scheduled to start its journey through the factory. Add approximately 2 - 3 weeks for production/delivery.

Thanks for the fast response, I am getting anxious. I want to get her in the garage before they salt the roads but it is not looking good.

We ordered a Rebel 1725 last Oct. ( Last of the month )
It did not come in till the week before Christmas or about 8 weeks. I was told that Lund shut down the factory the week of Thankgiving for the first time because of the slow economy. Then we was told they also shut down a week during deer season for the first time. I think the boat also sat at the dealers other location for a week or more and the dealer never called and let us know they had it. And yes, the boat got run the week end we picked it up. the lake was not frozen but we was. |
