A couple of questions about the new line. It sounds pretty nice and will for sure try it next year. How is the memory? What are the advantages of a wide arbor reel and who makes one? Is it pretty much Pluegeur ans US reels?

I've been running 832 (6 lb, neon lime) for most of this fall and winter so far, including a trip last week with water temps at 35 and air temps at 25. Memory is essentially non-existent. It is a limp line that performs very well, even under those taxing conditions.
I've been running the Pfleuger Arbor reels for over a year as a way to get extra casting distance for very light offerings. They are robust reels, and as a guy who is pretty tough on gear, these reels have stood up to everything I've asked them to do....unlike the Pfleuger supremes (2) and Diawa Sealines (3) that I've toasted this past season. Large arbor reels may require your guides to be adjusted to gain increased casting distance. Just something to consider.
