Noticed this year that I am having some tiny lines on my screen. They come and go and are distracting for sure. I have a pic I will try to post. Hope you can see them and tell me what is going on.

try adjusting the angle of your transducer. it might be slightly off.

It does look like interference to me, although not particulary bad as interference goes. I have seen this in two scenarios in my boat.
A) when I am running my bow sonar on the same frequency. No brainer and I just switch my HDS to 83 kHz and problem solved. B) There's a guy on our lake that has one of the older but very powerful large screen LCX Lowrance combos. Unlike the HDS, this thing just pounds out the wattage (8000W) and I pick it up whenever I get within 1/10 of a mile of his boat. As soon as we separate the interference goes away. Or I could switch over to 83 also. |

I think it's just junk in the water. Small bits of debris from seasonal die off. Looks normal to me for the waters I fish this time of year.

Thanks guys..nice info..Junk??? I have noticed alot of junk floating around our lake right now, murkey water also. This may be it. Will see as tme passes and water clears.
