here r some pics of the damage , everything seems to run normal , should i fix it ? what are some fixes , is something like a jb weld or expoxy a good fix . thanks

I'm sure it runs fine. You may have problems with the bolt. But its a pretty easy fix though put a half skeg on and remachine the bolt hole your as good as new again.

It holds your carrier bearing, prop shaft and gear assembly, so it has some importancy.

Sounds like Propman recommends fixing it. I would also. I just had a broken skeg fixed . It cost $130 not bad for the piece of mind.
