Wow...they are very good. I agree, they need to be signed. They have a great sound, and he has a great voice... they are as good as anything I hear on the radio right now.
What's up with the black eyes though? Make him eat some vegetables! lol Just kidding....I know it's just a "look". You have good reason to be proud, "Dad". Thanks for sharing that. ![]() Juls

as one who spends alot of time listening to new music and really trying to stay on top modern rock, this group is decent. but there are alot of decent bands around that just "need to be signed"
the band sounds clean and the voice is good. the song wasn't as catchy as it probably could be. a good producer can fix that. what producers are looking for is some hook. something anything that sets a band apart from everyone else. i didn't really see anything in there that made me go "WOW". we have about 20 bands in our area that sound similar. the market is oversaturated with decent to slightly better than decent bands right now all fighting for a piece of the pie. the internet has done wonders for the music world but i also think its also alot harder too to become a big name gig. good luck to your son and his friends though. all it takes is one thing to happen to set them off down the road to stardom. |

No offense. These bands are a dime a dozen...do a search on Utube and you'll see there are Hundreds/Thousands of other bands that play "ok" music. Nothing special about the music, the kid has a "ok" voice but he's no Sebastian Bach.

They look like a million of the other bands out there looking to 'make it'. Unfortunately, they sound maybe as good as a tenth of those. To say the market is oversaturated with bands looking to be the next big thing is an understatement. I'm sure they have a decent sized local following, and it's great for the youngsters to have dreams, but the odds of getting signed these days, and having a successful career in the music biz is less than slim to zilch.

Thanks for posting this! I have always liked Green Day and as the poster said before me they have that feel.
Best of luck to your son and keep on being a proud dad. |

But Sebastian Bach was an organist, not a vocalist... If you're referring to Johann Sebastian Bach, that is.

They are very good at what they do. I Like the vocals too. But yeah,I agree with others there are a gazzillion bands out there, and a lot of them sound like this. The bar scene is littered with them.and most of them are playing for free beer, not money.
Someone mentioned they sound like GreenDay. That's exactly why it will be tough for them. We already have a GreenDay. Been there done that. Until a band can come up with their own distinct sound and character, they generally will remain just another rock and roll band. Wish them the best of luck. |
