Default new Smith and Wesson AR 15 Sport

I just bought it and from everything I have read about it, it should be a good rifle.
Does anyone else on here have an AR 15 ?

Nice, I like the camo pattern.
I've got a Rock River with a 20" HBAR (heavy barrel) with 1/9 twist...all black.

Love the AR platform

A4 type. Handle instead of flat top like the originals. My next one will be flat to accept a scope with backup rail mounted iron sights. Also likely to be 6.8 or some other caliber larger than 5.56 so I can use it for deer.

I have 5 AR's last time I checked and to be honest as long as you stick with one of the name brands (Colt, S&W, Bushmaster, Remington, DPMS, etc.) you will be getting a pretty darn good gun. I suggest putting a new trigger (I like Timneys) as all the stock triggers are pretty much crap.

My favorite AR I have is a Rock River with a 10.5" barrel and a silencer on it! Lot's of fun and not lots of noise!

what state do you live in that you can have a 10.5" barrel and a silencer ? I thought silencers were illegal anywhere.
