Question Attention Tiller Drivers!!!

Tell us what you drive. What you like and what you would change? What would you replace it with if it were stolen?

Default Warrior 2090

Warrior 2090 with a 175 Opti Pro-XS. A Merc 9.9 prokicker sits on the starbord side and a Vantage sits on the other. My Lowrance electronics sit right in front of me. A big plus of tillers is having all that's needed in the back of the boat. Another plus is having the boat completely wide open - no bubbles, no windshield, no steering wheel, etc. I am a fishing guide and I can put four clients in the boat with me - it's difficult to do that in a wheel boat.

But when it's cold and wet, it would be nice to have a windshield to hide behind. For those days I simply dress appropriately and wear my Save-Face mask.

If I had to replace this boat, I'd get another one.

18' Alaskan (2002) 50 hp e-tec tiller. Love being able to troll super slow without a kicker or electric. Love everyone in the boat staying in the same seat (no musical chairs). Like the setup but if I HAD to replace it, I might want something a little wider....maybe a few more HP (Yamaha 70 looks sweet!).

Tiller all the way .. I have a 1775 Pro-V with a 75hp Yamaha tiller and love it .. If I were to upgrade, I would be looking at near the same boat pkg . 1800 with a 90 tiller .. It is all the boat I need ..

2002 Alumacraft Tourney Pro 175 with a 90 hp 2 stroke yammy tiller. I absolutly love this boat. I'm a speed demon so thats the only down fall is it's not fast enough, but man does it catch fish. I love the wide beam it has, pretty decent storage, but man is there room. Only thing different I would have is a 4 stroke. I think a 115 on this boat would be absolutly awesome. I look at different boats all the time, and i honestly dont know what I would replace it with.

Default Ranger 620T / 200 Etec Tiller

Not much to dislike about it. Which is why I ordered another almost identical Ranger 620T / 200 Etec. A great rig for the die hard fisherman.

Default warrior v177

Great news for this maufacturer in Minnesota, one of the best built glass tiller boats on the market today. The newly designed boat has a very user friendly fit and finish that any fisherman would love.
Good luck on the lakes this everyone!!!

I've had a Pro V 1660 with 75 Merc 2 stroke, a Pro Angler 16 with 75 hp Honda and now have an 1825 Pro Guide with 90 hp Honda EFI (Traxxis 80# transom).
the latest is the best and I have no plans to upgrade.

Current rig is a 2008 Lund 1825 Pro Guide with an F90, 80# 3x Vector transom, 70# Power Drive bow, and LCX-27 front and LCX-37 rear. Really like the rig, however, the number of times I need to tighten the floor and deck screws throughout the season concerns me; I did not have this problem with my previous boat, a 1999 Tournament Pro 170 Alumacraft. My next rig will probably be a 618T or 620T Ranger, but that will not be in the near future...
