Looking at putting a couple of drift socks in the boat. Pro V 1900 SE. Suggestions on brand and size?

Amish Outfitters set the standard for drift bags and trolling bags.

Excellent... What about sizes? The Pro V 1900 is a heavy rig, but not a very tall profile. I was thinking 54 inch for average use?

I have a ranger 1850. I have and use 2 cabelas advanced angler drift socks. Both are the 2xl size, 48 inches i think..... 1 does the job if lighter winds, and 2 socks if really windy. They were on sale a week ago dont know if they still are.

I have the same boat, I have a small and medium size. Very few times have I needed anything else but usually utilize the bow mount in conjunction with a drift sock.

Yea, the Cabelas are nice and I picked one up last week when they were 50% off.

When I troll I like to run 2 smaller ones off of the front/sides of the boat. The boat will go straighter. For drifting you may want a bigger bag.

I've never used a drift sock before. e and I'm curious to know how the boat would behave in conditions where the current rather then the wind is the factor. I I fish close to a hydro dam where the current very strong.. So should I expect a slower drift speed or no noticeable different?
