anyone pick up a 2012 crestliner raptor? wondering what they think of it!

As an ex Crestliner and I will admit unhappy with Brunswick [for the way the transfer was handled] employee. I think the new Raptor is one sweet boat. If I would ever buy another Brunswick product I would look long and hard at it.

A lot of people I know love their Crestliners. I've noticed this site doesn't have a lot of Crestliner fans on it, but in Canada they are regarded as a quality boat. It's like Princecraft- in Canada they are seen as equals to Lund but I've yet to see anyone post about them! Go for a test ride and check it out.

I have a 2011 Raptor and love it. Been a Crestliner man for the last 20 years and never a regret.

Would recommend one to anyone looking.

2011 Trolling Edition is what I have.
Bow area is huge, the netting is used to store planer boards and anchor ropes. Large livewell, a compartment that is used as a cooler, baitwell is out of the way.

Walk thru is what I have. Huge area as I use only two seats. More rod storage in center and side. Another compartment for cooler, large compartment for 3 batteries if needed and still more room for a 3 bank charger.

Aft area is large enough to use as a casting platform. Large livewell along with battery compartment.

I hate the dash as its hard to part two large units there. On the 2012 I thinks it's different and better. I don't have a top or side curtains but I think it would not lay down out of the way base on the design. I was told by someone at Crestliner a few months ago that they make them where you can take them apart and store them away.

I don't have a radio but it's ordered and on its way. Thanks to Captain I was able to find my speaker cutouts and I did order some speakers thru eBay.

Captain, thanks for all the help on the stereo and speakers questions. I did end up buying the Sony you recommended and some speakers from eBay. Save $150 thanks!

awesome. mine's on order. 2012 1850 with a 200 optimax. should be here by next weekend. got the crazy fish graphics too.

choose it over a 1875 pro-v. some say i'm crazy!
