May 19th.. near Longlac. Hoping to find the big girls still shallow and active . Can't help but assume we will be fishing post spawn. Wish the clock would be this slow during our trip!

Leave the night of the 17th, spend Fri night in V Bay. Fishing the Wine Lake system by noon on Sat. May 19. I hope the walleye are active and the Lakers are flopping around in the shallows. I also hope those big pike are hungry!

I'll be in one of those red boats on Wabby opening week. We've never made the trek to Wine but thinking about it this week. I promise though HeHooks, I'll be a good boy.

Our group will be out on Cedar Lake in the back bays....counting down the days as we head north a week from this Thursday.....about a 22-24 hour drive.....break up the trip at my
brother's house outside Milwaukee...going into camp on Friday evening. Will drive back on Memorial Day weekend. Rich B |
