Interesting stuff, and there's something to be said for the simplicity they mentioned. I am in the process of researching a new boat purchase right now myself, and my go-to boat is the Lund Tyee 1950. I am also considering a couple fiberglass boats as well--Ranger, for one.
I have no idea which way I'll be deciding just yet as I don't to have a final decision for another week or two, but I can certainly appreciate how complicated some of these high-dollar boats are. After researching this for the past week or two, my brain hurts! TB |

But then the first graph if you only show 15-24' boats there are 63% glass. I would not be surprised by tin out selling glass here in MN. A lot more options when buying a 16-18' tin boat.
