Smooth Moves makes a set back plate that can be used if more room is needed. The plate is in the back of the pic.

I put a Smooth Moves seat in my 2006 Pro V. It fit just fine, but I yanked it out and sent it back. It was AWFUL, like riding on a pogo stick...

You can adjust the ride on the smooth moves. I have major back issues and I would not go out without them.
Take care,

Default smooth move

You do have to make sure they are properly adjusted for the weight of the rider. If not you can eject someone out of there seat. When it is set up properly they are far superior to any air ride seat pedestal I have ever used. It is also all but impossible to wear them out. I replaced far to many air ride peds in my boat over the years.

I have them on my boat and enjoy them. Set them on the tight end of the settings because these are not 'Mariner' seats , these are just made to take the shock out. They do raise your seat height so you have to follow instructions and trim your pedestal down or watch your box height. Better than most air pedestals, but are considered a medium duty shock seat.Install took maybe 1.5 hours . At 300 bucks +- , a good bang for your buck. They can be found regularly on CL,Lake link Trading post, and on the great Walleye Central.
