I have not been in Watertown for a good number of years. What type of food are you looking to have? I could ask my parents who live on Chaumout Bay all summer long for a good couple places.

A few years back I was stationed out of Ft Drum, one of the better places that I went to was called the Rusted Route, but i think they closed down. Another diner was called Shortys Place, a nice old school diner that is right off 81, they were cheap with amazing food i thought. Other than that they have all the mainstream restraunts now too.

Is that the diner that's seems to be in the middle of nowhere, right off an exit above Watertown? I've always wanted to stop there for breakfast.

I've seen that one before it sits all alone on the north bound side.

Default Watertown

If you go on Arsenal St. exit and head either way, you will find all the chain style restaurants i.e. Olive Garden, Five Guys, KFC, Red Lobster, Tilted Kilt, Ruby Tuesday, Buff. Wings etc.
You lookin for something a little more down home??
