The Global Positioning System is not on your Lowrance device, or any other GPS receiver. The GPS is in orbit, and its calibration is carefully controlled by the United States Air Force. There is nothing you can do about the calibration of the Global Positioning System.
Most GPS receivers included with marine navigation systems can use precision fix augmentation and can deduce a position with an accuracy of about 30-feet. If you need a more accurate position fix you will have to get a more sophisticated GPS receiver that uses other features of the Global Positioning System and precision fix augmentation systems to produce even more accurate position fixes.
