Pool 9 Mississippi

Larger males that were found south at tourney last week have spread throughout the pool. In 25 years of fishing on the Mississippi I have never and I mean never seen healthier fish. They are packing together and getting very territorial. Young males are milking but 71/2# female today was very firm. Folks with us caught almost 7 limits today but ya really had to go find the fish. They were biting lite and short all day till about 2 pm but we caught a few throughout the day, and got hammered from 2-5 Pm. You had to be right on the pack though cause lots around us just got one or two all day long . Bite should get better almostdaily now thru May. Need anyore info e-mail me at ecklor@Hotmail.com
