Perch off Mentor Lagoons, Ohio

Well the perch seem to be Everywhere !

I have been taking good numbers of 11-13" perch here all week.
I have had my best luck between the Lagoons and the Chagrin River.
The perch I have found have been in 26 fow, out to 36+ fow.

Have found thru trial and error, to set bottom hook between 12-18" up from the weight.
Lower then that and it's Goby's !
(And I have killed many of them this week. Prob. 200+)

We even fished in the rain storm we had here on Tuesday Evening. We were the ONLY boat out, except for the Coast Guard. We limited out with 90 perch, in 2 1/2 hours, for 3 people.

weakdaze, where is the lagoons from wildwood park? Is it east of eastlake? Sounds like alot of fun that I want to take my kids to. Is ther a public launch close by it? Thanks for the help.....

The Lagoons are located East of the Chagrin River, and East Lake.
And yes there is a launch there at the Lagoons.
I have added a map quest for ease of locating it.
If you are there anytime tomorrow,(Sat. or Sunday) look for me on the
right side of the channel as you go from the launch to the Lake.
