Default First look at Lowrance StructureScan

WOW! Is this going to be fun to use.

http://www.lowrance.com/en/Products/...Scan/Previews/

StructureScan will work with any new Lowrance HDS unit. Should be available in the fall.

It should just need a "Structure Scan " Transducer. And a 2009 Lowrance HDS unit.

Thumbs down beta tester

So I go to the site and there is no info from your link or pictures ???

I thinks I will wait 'till I get my HD unit taken care of by lowrance before I become another beta tester on a new product. Is it just me or do others feel the same way?

It's a video link, it takes a while to load. One thing you will note is the near video like quality of the StructureScan soundings being displayed on the screen, the detail is amazing. That is the HDS system, strutting it's stuff.

More information on StructureScan and specs here:

http://www.lowrance.com/en/Products/...StructureScan/

Full details on this new system won't be released until the ICAST show on July 15th.
