Default Co-Pilot beep codes

Someone refresh my memory please. How do you set the beep codes on the Co-Pilot? The ones that sound when you turn the motor on and off, and also the steady one that tells you the motor is running. I was fishing tonight and must have mashed the right combination to shut off all beeps. I like to here them. Thanks, Ron

Minn Kota has a FAQ forum on their website, which has a section for the co-pilot, and it also lists how to change the beep code. Unfortunately they forgot to post the answer. Click on the question, and you get no answer!

Sounds like your audio mode is set to 3. Change it to mode 2 which is suppose to be default. To change it, press and hold both the increase and decrease buttons. The receiver will respond with 1, 2 or 3 audible beeps indicating which mode it is in.

how long do you hold those 2 buttons ? I tried it with mine and I don't hear anything. The remote works fine for all functions but no beeps

On my Terrova, this is an optional setting - it toggles between
chirping while motor is on, to chirp once when a button is pushed,
to no chirp... I can change mine by mashing the - and + buttons on
the copilot at the same time and hold till it chirps. At least ~ for 2 seconds.

You have the remote with you when u push reset? This synchronizes the 2 units.

Unplug the copilot and plug back in. I had to this on my Terrova to get it to stop chirping.

What unit do you have?

Can you find your instruction manual for it ?

Mine is the unit for a power drive with sonar and auto pilot
I emailed Minn-Kota for a replacement owners manual
