Wink Ranger 618T

Just got back from the Longville MN. area, and went on a test ride with George Feder in a 618T. Good day for a test, 2 - 3 footers. Besides all of the nice features Ranger talks about in it's advertisement, I was quite impressed with the performance of the boat back trolling into the waves with the 90 e-tec., without splash guards. Going up to 1 mph into the wind, there was only a few drops on the compartment lids, and none got to me. I have been in several types and lengths of tillers, and I am certain not one would have allowed me to do that and stay dry. Not trying to sound like an advertisement, but this is one boat that surprised me with it's ability to backtroll without the guards, and impressed me with it's ride and comfort overall.

Nice boat, thanks George for the ride.

Default Walleye

Oh yea, caught plenty for a fish fry. Daughter lost a couple. Maybe next year she will be patient enough.
