Smile Lowrance

I have a Lowrance 332C on my console and a Lowrance X510C on the bow.
I get a lot of interference on them with both units on. The front unit uses the US from the Minn Kota trolling motor.
The 332C uses a through hull transducer.
Is there a way to hook both units up to read from the through hull transducer?
Can I use a switch to make the front unit also able to use the US when I want to?
I already have 3 Lowrance blue T's connectors under the dashboard for the through hull temp gauge, etc.

Thanks, Bob

You should be able to utilize a switch box, and run either the Through Hull, or the US on the bow with a flick of a switch.

Check with the LEI site in the accessories section.

Can you turn both depth finders on and use one transducer?

The only way for two Lowrance sonars to share a single transducer is to have one sonar connected to the transducer and the other sonar networked to the first. Not sure that your combo will support that.

I would need to read the manuals. I have not set up a Lowrance network.

Bob, in order to share transducers, you need to be able to run and 'ethernet' network connection. I believe that both of your units are legacy units and do not have the capability. Therefore, go with Backwater Eddy's solution. Go with a switch box solution.

I want to be able to run both units at the same time. I want my friends in the back of the boat to be able to use one while I am up front. The way it is now, I get too much interference with both on.

The only way you can use both units at the same time with one transducer would be to upgrade your sonars. The units you have do not have the yellow ethernet port on the back of them to all this feature. You would need to have 2007 or newer LCX, LMS models or HDS models.
