Yar-Craft 209/250 Pro XS what Prop

What prop are you all running on your Yar-Craft 209 tfx with Mercury 250 Pro XS?

Friend is running a 23 tempest with that boat/motor combo. It would be good to test a 21 tempest as well. What's your altitude?

Boat will be run in Wisconsin

I would start with a 21 try that. They also make a 22 pitch tempest now to.

That's what I thought. I't nice to get other opinions from people in the know.

What numbers are you guys getting running the 23 Tempest? I pick up my rig next week and the dealer wants to put the 23 tempest on instead of the 21 tempest. Any thoughts?

Consider bravo 1 xs in 22 or 23 pitch.
