Well received my pro kicker, troll master, steering bar and panther static mount. Now the fun part installation
. Question, has anyone installed the Mercury pro kicker using the panther static mount. I have no problem mounting the plate to the transom but none of the holes line up for the motor to mount to the static plate. I'm not too keen on only using the thumb screws. I can use the factory holes in the motor support through the top of the plate which is above the transom but would like to get something further down towards the bottom of the motor and plate. Any pick would be appreciated.

What boat are you installing on? Do you need the static plate? If it is needed, and I'm guessing your boat transom makes it difficult to mount the kicker, why not mark and drill new holes in the plate. You should only need 2 bolts on the kicker. Then the question would be, would drilling new holes hit any of the pre-drilled holes. By hitting I mean, would the new hole be too close or drill out one side of the pre-drilled holes.
