Hunting stands/blinds

Looking for plans for building safe elevated hunting stand/blind. Want to be 8 to 12 feet above the ground. Could buy the pre-built ones but thinking they are pretty pricey and wondering if home built options might be worth considering.

If it is your property, and the spot is premier, put up a penthouse. I am talking treated lumber, roof, sliding openings, and carpeting. Soft chair, nice rest for gun, room for a guest or camera person. I have seen some real elaborate ones with cooking stoves and cabinets.

I built this with the left over siding from my house. I set the posts 3' deep. 30 sq', 6' interior height, insulated, carpeted, tin roof.
