Okay I see all the other links - but I cannot find a replacement tire in my current size at tire rack...
Currently Carlisle's at 215/75/R14 - seems only the 'dreaded' Marathons are out there - - - -anyone know of a warehouse/place I missed on the web??? |

Spendit,
Just find a tire that has your load rating on the sidewall tire rating. Then, buy it and put it on your trailer. The key thing with any tire purchase is to insure that you have a tire that is capable of handing the load that will be put on the tire. It really doesn't matter if it is a semi, truck, pickup, auto or any other type tire. Get the tire that has the load rating and you will be good to go. REW |

You can buy Khumo's at Tire Rac and you can get Maxxis at Discount Tire. If you have a store in your area they are shipped free to that store I believe. Just bought Maxxis for mine tandem axle trailer from Discount Tire.

I need a new set this spring since mine are 6 years old. I am going with Marathons again since these have lasted so well. They still look great with no signs of dry rot or anything but 6 years is about the average life span from what I have read. They are the made in the USA tires. I hope I can get them again and not the made in China ones, if not I will be looking for a new brand.

I use the same size trailer tires.
Check out the Kumho 857 at tirerack.com. The 195R14 C tire has the same weight rating as the Marathon 215R14. You can go up to a load range D tire and gain even more capacity. |

I expect you'll find that all new Goodyear Marathon trailer tires are now made in China. |
