Panther lift problems

I have a panther lift on my 9.9 merc kicker and it took a crap I have read this is an issue but wondering if any one has any suggestion on what to do sounds like panthern never changed their design. Wondering to if anyone ever put a diffrent actuator in their bracket thanks for help
