I am heading to Black Duck (north of Bemidji) toward the end of June. This is a family gathering so serious fishing will be somewhat limited. Anybody have any experience with this lake? I primarily fish walleyes and smallmouth, but will turn toward whatever if necessary. Thanks.

Lots of structure, humps, saddles, sunken islands. Lake is fairly clear. Probably 7 or 8 feet. That time of year, trolling weed lines during the day and slip bobber at night with leeches. Also have have used bottom bouncers and lindy rigs with success.

Fished Black Duck a couple of years ago and had luck with leeches and crawlers trolling and jigging last week of June. Walleyes were small.
