Default Denny Palmer Memorial Classic

Please find press release below for the 2nd Annual Denny Palmer Memorial Classic Tournament held in Mobridge, SD. This Tournament is held in honor of a great guy, put on by the fine folks in the outstanding fishing community of Mobridge, and held on the perennial walleye factory of Lake Oahe. It just doesn't get any better than that. If you have never fished this Tournament or had the opportunity to experience Lake Oahe, you may want to make sure and mark your calendars in advance for next years event. This is a fun Tournament with some very good anglers that will provide spirited competition.

You hit it on the head there Chad. Denny cut a pretty darn wide swath from his base at the small MoRest Motel in Mobridge and had a very big impact and influence on a lot of us. Still feels really strange every time I pull in there not to see him come walking out to greet me. Brent and Kelly are doing a great job of carrying on right where he left off...so the tradition and legacy does continue.

I personally cannot say enough about how much assistance Denny-and the whole community of Mobridge-offered when I conducted a number of Children's Events in town over the years. This carries on right to this day and is evidenced in just how successful anything they put on is. The Ice Tournament is a great example of this.

We will be having a separate Sport Show to be held just prior to the Ice Tournament this year highlighting everything new and cutting edge with Pro Staff and Local Guides on hand to put it all in perspective, so even more reason to come on out to Mobridge.
