Default lowrance interlink

Can two lowrance units use the same transducer? If so, how do they need to be interlinked? If not, can extension wire be added (if they make something like that)? I have one that is up front of the boat, but dont want to pull wires, would like to add an extension if possible.

Default What model?

Not sure what model lowrance you have, but if it is Ethernet capable, all you need is an Ethernet cable (yellow ends) plugged into both units and your good to go. You will need to select the transducer on the unit that is not directly connected to the transducer.

I assume that is in the settings somewhere. Can you pt me in the right direction? I have a 520 and hds gen2, so they have the ethernet connection. Thanks for the reply!

There sure is alot to learn about these things.

Under "Network", click on "Network Sonar" and they will be able to share the sonar.

The more a device can do for you, the more you have to learn about that device to take advantage of what it can offer.

Got the hds 5 hooked up and it is working great. But, the 520c is saying the gps is not responding and its not, I had it out on the water today. I believe the hds had an internal antenna while the 520 is using the puck. Any ideas on this. Thanks for the replys!!!

Looks like I need the T-connector to share the sonar. I talked with Lowrance and that is what they told me. Anyone have a link to one of these?

no no no

you need the NMEA to share the GPS wpts etc (thats where the T connector comes in)

the ethernet (cable with the yellow ends) is for sharing the sonar returns.

All the info is on the Lowrance site

you just have to look for it
