Default Correct Prop?

I have a 1998 Fisher Hawk 18 foot fish ski v bottom. With a 1998 Mercury 115. When I try to get it on plane it pulls very hard to the left. Once it is on plane there are no steering problems and runs great. Would changing the prop help this problem? Currently it has a 22 pitch stainless steel lazer prop on it. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thank You

Default Pulling hard on hole shot is normal...

..with mechanical steering. If the steering is neutral when on plane at best trim setting and at WOT and best trim setting then you've done all you can. In comparison- a Laser is a fairly small diameter prop, and big block V-6s spinning the larger diameter Tempest Plus/Rev 4, etc props will really pull your arm out of its socket during a day of fishing. I used to run a 21 ft w/225 Evinrude and dual cable manual steering and after 10 years of fighting the wheel I finally gave up- and ordered my current rig with SeaStar hydraulic steering- which eliminates almost all steering torque all the time. I am completely sold on hydraulic steering- and my left shoulder has regained most of its motion.
