After reading the post below (Tin -vs- Tin) I to was hoping that Lund would bring back the Pro V 1800 Tiller. I do like the 1825 Pro Guide but it just doesn't seem like it's built as tough as the Pro V. I have and will be looking to find a newer (used ) 1800 Pro V tiller with an IPS II Hull. They must be a good boat as you don't see many of them for sale. So what do you think the chance is that Lund will bring this boat back into production ?

The 1825 Pro guide doesn't even compare to the Pro-V 1800 tiller in my opinion, which is why I picked up an 05 1800 tiller this winter.Yes they are very tough to find that are 04-05 or newer,I have found like 3-4 1800 tillers in the last year and a half for sale and that is searching everywhere, I found a few older ones but wanted an 05 or newer for the sport-trak system. I think the Pro-V dry weight is 2-300 lbs heavier and has a much better livewell system than the Pro-Guide. Would be nice if they offered the 1800 tiller again but not sure if the market is there for them.

You are right about the weight difference, something I don't need either when we're talking about marginally powered tiller boats. Can't think of one good reason they would bring this boat back, not enough of a difference to justify it. |

Yep looks like a real nice boat and its only 20 miles from me!! And I had to drive about 350 miles to get mine this winter! I believe 04 was the first year of the IPS 2 hull on the Pro V's. 05 was the first year with the sport-trak system. Another reason I wanted the 1800 was it comes setup for 36V and has plenty of room for all 3 troller batteries and I am sooo glad I went 36V! My 90 suzuki handles the heavier Pro V very well,33-35mph and loaded with 5 guys I still managed 30-31 not a speed demon by any means but handles the load very well, although I am flirting with the idea of converting my 90 to a 115 which would be sweet as I think most 1825 Pro guides and Pro anglers with 90's are running 35 to almost 40mph.

I believe 208prov is correct, you can special order if you chose. I know of a handfull of 2075 Tillers that are made each year. Its doubtful LUND will ever come back with a full production of Pro V tillers unless they scrap the very sucsessfull pro guide line-up. An example would be the LE models. Very good fishing boats giving you the best of a tiller and a console but...if they dont sell enough of them, they dont mass produce them. Business is business. Another possability for you would be a 1825 built the way you want. I think you can request additional pumps and other features. I recently went from a 1900 pro v tiller to a 2010 Pro Guide with a 150 vrod and LOVE it.

I actually bought that Pro V from Hoots. I must say, I am very impressed. I fish Leech 99% of the time and so far its done everything I could have asked out of it...
