Yes, it simply needs balanced. Go to YouTube and do a search as I mentioned before there's quite a few videos to choose from.

You know there is a lot of BS on this site but having someone tell you their ceiling fan does not wobble takes the cake...how gullible do you think we are???

I know it from turning on the fan and watching "the entire assembly" not just the blades, wobble

"downrod" style fans (like yours) all have a swivel ball as part of the mounting, so they can be installed on angled ceilings. It's a different style of mounting than what you're used to, where the motor is mounted up against the ceiling. There is no way to "tighten" the swivel ball, so the balance of the entire assembly is critical. Please remove all the blades, and run the motor. If the wobble is still there, the im-balance is in the motor. But, I'll bet the wobble stops, and you can start to find the problem with the blades.

Fans should have a correct cieling fan electrical box mount and not just a cieling light fixture box. If the box is not secure it will not hold the fan steady. There are retrofit boxes you can install from inside the room. Look at your hardware store. There are other boxes that you would need to install from the attic side.

I have seen several different attachment methods so cant give you specific details. The rod should hang straight down, use a level to check. Also see if there is a way to tension the rod to hold it in place.

I plan on trying the advice given here, just haven't had a chance to do it yet, one of my dogs is in an emergency hospital (as opposed to a regular veterinary hosp) diagnosed with diabetes, pancreatis, and blood cell counts off the charts. When I get time I'll try your suggestions. Thank you.
