hds8 lss1 wiring

K i instaled my hds8 gen2 and lss1 a while back. I put the red power from the hds8 gen2 to the main fuse panel so i can cut the power to it when not in use. I soldered the yellow from the hds8 gen2 to the yellow on the lss1 power supply. The red and black from the lss1 goto the battery with the included inline fuse on the red. First couple times i used the boat after install everything seemed fine. I blew 2 tires 3 weeks ago, fricked goodyear marathons. they were 6 years old mind you. So boat has been sitting in driveway for 3 weeks waiting for some new maxxis tires. Anyway started motor, 90 optimax 2006, ran my hds8 with the lss1, filled my livewells once and did the recirc for maybe 3 minutes 7 mile run. Docked at camp for 5 hr went back out no problem. Ran the hds and lss1 for like 45 min. When i fired main motor low voltage warning on the hds. Motor did start but knoticed when i trimed in and out at idle that revs seemed to drop a bit. 7 mile run home put it on my smart charger and 80% when i connected fully charged within 20 min. The battery for my motor and electronic is a brand new this year D27m 27 optima deep cycle starting. I did sand and make sure all connections were good when i did my install.
Could my lss1 be draining my battery even though the wakeup wire is dead as the power on the hds8 is cut.

no power to yellow wake up no power up to LSS. Look elsewhere for the drain. How about recirc pump running intermittantly in auto recirc. Is that turned off. For sure not LSS unless defective.
