I love the jackpot you can cast it all day. fun to see that wake and then the fins come up and take it most of the time thay miss so you can't set the hook just keep on working the bait til the rod loads up then its game on. It also heats up the muskie if you speed your pace. I use it like a fish activator if you fish two in the boat the 1st guy uses the jackpot and the 2nd guy use a smaller baits like mepps ,showgirl, small bulldawgs. and the same spots the 1st guy just worked. hope this helps.

Bucktaiks-high % on hooksets
DepthRaiders & ShallowRaiders-versatile-can straight retrieve, twitch, troll
Bulldawgs-also versatile
Topwater-Topraider, Hawg Wobbler, Creeper, Jackpot are my favorites,

i like to throw a Mepps as well, but love a baby loon top raider, and an X Rap magnum shallow diver , twitched just under the surface early in the season,
Mid summer i would say it goes to bucktails of several sizes and colours with a bunch of topwaters mixed in on smoother water days,,
as the fall comes on, and water temps drop i start mixing in several cranks and trolling baits like Jakes, Grandmas and the like,,
Late fall onto winter, as long as the lake is not frozen, i go to a strong trolling mix of deep and mid depth divers, the brighter the better,,as the light dwindles during the day,,

i fish on Lake Of The Woods primarily with a few side trips to other lakes like Dryberry

Super Shad Raps. Lokes. Wileys Headshakers. Bulldawgs. Bucktails. More bucktails.

Default Tough Trip

Fished LOTW from July 8th - 13th and used my favorite Cisco Kids, Mepps Musky Killer bucktails and TopRaiders... Had MANY follows on all baits but the fish just seemed hot and tired like us... We fished 3-4 hours in the morning and 3-4 hours in the evening... Our group of 3 caught 5 fish with the biggest at 47 inches... We had much better success with deep water close by... Pike were also few and far between... I did try a new lure for me the Sebile Stick Shad. I love the action but i am unable to work/fish it for more than 1 hour at a time...
