I watch live weight in but did anyone know what his weight would have been? He just went on stage and MC said he didn't make it in time so DQ weight.

They need to find a more accurate way of converting the 'length' to 'weight'. I find it very misleading to post 'record weight of 70.2 pounds'. Some of the 30" fish I saw pictures of looked like eels, and couldn't have been more than 9-9 1/2 pounds.
Nice to see AIM stop by Lake Erie, and nice that they release the fish. Also like the idea of the timing, when the fish are more scattered, rather than hold the tournament in a certain place when 90% of the large females are congregated within a small area of the lake, and taken from the lake, never to return. |
